Parson Brown

In the meadow we can build a snowman
then pretend that he is Parson Brown.
He'll say 'Are you married?' We'll say 'no man,
but you can do the job when you're in town.'

My Mother often sang this Winter Wonderland song during the Christmas season.  Hearing this song brings back happy memories of Mother baking, decorating and wrapping presents for Christmas.

In 2007, Lori Brechlin (Notforgotten Farm) released a design called Parson Brown.  Needless to say, I immediately purchased the design.

In 2008 Lori released Happy Christmas.  Yes, I immediately purchased this design.
In my stitching bag is "Nick" by Notforgotten Farm.  Hope Nick will join the Christmas parade in 2013.

When it snows, 'ain't it thrillin?'
Tho' your nose, gets a chillin'
We'll frolic and play,  the Eskimo way
                                     Walkin' in Winter Wanderland

  1. I'm working on Parson Brown! I started it 2 (cough, choke, splutter) years ago and have just the snowman still to do. I have no idea why it's taken me this long! I LOVE that santa!! I don't recall seeing it before. Zoinks! It looks great.
