And all through the house

The tree in my Grandmother room.  It sits in a dry sink, the samplers behind the tree tell the story of Grandmother Bessie and the Shultz family.  All the ornaments are hand made and also include family history.  1885, the date stitched on some of the ornaments is the year Grandmother Sarah Miranda moved from North Carolina to Tennessee.

Another dough bowl of smalls--Elizabeth is another Grandmother.

The long stocking is the sampler stocking a design by Carriage House.

More ornaments on the Grandmother tree.  Yep another kitty--I come from a long line of cat lovers.

Recognize this--it's a Liberty Hill Christmas box.

and that carrier in the lower right hand corner--another Liberty Hill Christmas box.

  1. Again, love seeing your decorating! I have 4 Christmas stockings by Carriage house (including that one) waiting to be finished into stockings. Sigh.

  2. Oops I've already gotten behind on your Christmas posts. Love everything you showed on Day 1 and I agree I don't like to put out Christmas until Thanksgiving is over. I like to enjoy every season properly. No - I don't have this Christmas box and I am jealous ! I do have the little carrier from last Christmas and it is by my LH feather tree. Love all your traditions - enjoy the season Mel
