Annie's Debut

Little by Little
Anne Pennsylvania Peacock
NPI Silks
32 Count Lakeside Linen (?)

Annie Magnolia aka Anne Pennsylvania Peacock is off to the framers.  I put the finishing stitches in her this morning.  I'm going with the paper face (all the white part of the paper will be removed).

There were challenges, especially stitching the J in her name.  I got pretty bored stitching the border.  There are so many things I love about this sampler--her name, the proportions, the wonkiness of the border.

Time to choose a new project:  a WIP/PhD project, a quilt, a houswife, a new sampler?

  3. ps - Would you mind sharing your conversion? I've had this in my "must stitch" pile for so long and yours is my favorite version I've seen. You knocked it out of the park with your color selection. ;-)

  5. Betty, You are so much braver than I am. I love how your sampler looks regardless of how chicken I am to consider doing it myself. We definitely need people like you in the world. :-)
