Christmas Dishes

Only two more sleeps until Christmas!  Whew, is time flying.  Time to dig out the Christmas dishes.

The Ruby Red vases were a gift to AppleJack from his great aunt--the reds are playing nicely with each other.  (just need to add some greenery)

The solid red dishes came from Wally World aka Walmart.  I'm hoping Santa has some more of these red dishes in his sleigh.

One of our traditions is a BIG country breakfast--homemade biscuits, milk gravy, country ham, fresh squeezed orange juice, blueberry jam or molasses, scrambled eggs.  Yum Yum  Sometime during the day we will take a long walk to burn off some of the calories and enjoy the quiet of nature.

  3. Merry Christmas Betty - I didn't get the "scan" off to you today - but I will send it next week for sure. What a nice tradition - we always do one of those overnight sausage casserole dishes for Christmas breakfast with mimosas and coffee of course. There will be some cooking and cleaning up and not many presents this year since our recent trip to Tenn. was our family Christmas gift. We always do dinner with my folks at a favorite seafood restaurant on Christmas Eve so I better close up and leave work and start my holiday weekend. I wish you and Applejack a wonderful peaceful Christmas - Mel

  6. This is a belated comment, but your bold red Christmas dishes are WONDERFUL !! I had a couple ruby red vases similar to yours but gave them away years ago for some fund raiser or some sale. Kicking myself now. They're a special part of your Christmas decor.
