AppleJack and I have a running conversation about my needlework productivity. I feel I never accomplish anything, he says "you accomplish more than you are willing to say." This one is for you AppleJack, needlework year in review 2012. For the record, I accomplished less than one half of my goal.

Time to update my stitching goals for 2013. This is the exciting/scary part. Hannah Breed by the Scarlet Letter is at the top of the list. A combination Adam and Eve/Christmas sampler by Gigi Isabella Fox 1827 and Christmas at Hollyberry Farm by Stacy Nash. E Pluribus Unum by Heartstring Samplery and Summer House. Two pinkeeps by The Goode Huswife, tombstone angels by Carriage House, Rotten but not Forgotten by Plum Street. Whew! I think I need to re evaluate these goals or stop looking through my stash. And. . . the Nashville Needlework Market is in March which brings even more tempting designs.
Oh I love seeing year in review posts!! You have stitched some gorgeous pieces! And I love your list of what you're planning to stitch in 2013 too! I can't plan ahead myself. Just doesn't work for me. I'm very spur of the moment.
ReplyDeleteWonderful finishes and I think that you'll be able to get through your list for 2013! It's so hard though because we pick some things out now and then new things come out and we want to do those. I've put together a list too - way too ambitious to get through in one year, but it will be fun trying.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Loved seeing all your stitching accomplishments of 2012. You've got great plans for 2013.
ReplyDeleteWOW! And I thought my goals were ambitious! All of your finishes this year are lovely and I hope this coming year is just as successful! Laura
ReplyDeleteI think you did darn good. Appil's amount of outlining would have taken me six months!
ReplyDeleteWell done Betty. Wishing you such another productive year in 2013
