Market 2018

Oliver
Stacy Nash Animal Cracker Crumbs series
Mystery Stash linen
Gentle Arts Shaker fibers:  Black Licorice, Carriage Black, Endive and Lambswool

Nashville Needlework Market 2018 has come and gone and what a market it was!  Those designers just keep getting better and better!  To see some of the goodness of market watch Kitten Stitcher on Flosstube or Needle in a Haystack.  There are other Flosstube's about market, I just haven't had time to watch them.  Local Needlework Shops are having market days and their websites are brimming with new things.

Isn't Oliver just the sweetest little guy?  He has a very lovable face.  Lady Dot Creates with her wonderful ribbons, pom pom trims and rick rack will add more goodness to Oliver.  I have some rayon ribbon to add: Black Licorice and Jack.  I found an old rusty bell in my stash which I will also add.

La D Da
Fraktur Scissor Block and Fob Kit

Lori (La D Da) always adds the nicest touches.

Both Oliver and the Scissor block were very quick and easy pieces.

It's a rainy day in Nashville--a great day to stitch.  What next?  Maybe one of the strawberries from the Blackbird Girls, Deck the Halls.

Countdown 10. . 9. . 8. .

Countdown : Grunge film countdown

The count down for the Nashville Needle Work Market has begun--fourteen days!  Of course, I have been surfing the web for sneak peaks and oh boy, oh boy is there some good stuff out there.

Here is one of the designs on my shopping list.  It is called Cat and Mouse by Kathy Barrick.  Being a cat lover this design is singing to my heart.

New charts, linens, fibers, gadgets, accessories--be still my beating heart!

My Favorite Time of the Year

Does everyone know what this weekend is?  It's my favorite time of the year!  No not my birthday, not Christmas, not summer vacation.  It is time for the Nashville Needlework Market!  A time when my favorite people aka needlework designers come to Nashville to introduce their newest and latest designs.  Of course, there are also the new colors of fibers and floss.  And don't forget the linens and the accessories.   Be still my beating heart!  AppleJack is rolling his eyes and has a firm grip on his wallet!

Next week the web will be filled with the latest releases.  LNS's will be having Market Night festivities!

Ahhh, I wish everyone sweet dreams of repro samplers, delicious sounding fiber names, and luscious linens.
