Flag Day

Today is Flag Day.  I have been watching the history channel and learning many new facts about Old Glory.  I will never tire of the story of Betsy Ross and her sewing abilities.


Here is one of my many unfinished projects.  This small hooked rug would be great to add for Flag Day and Fourth of July.  The temps outside are in the high 80's and I just can't get motivated to hook wool and burlap in this heat.  Yes, I am a wimp!  Maybe I will add this to my list of projects to complete in 2012.



In the meantime, I will let celebrate Flag Day with these oldies but goodies.
